Temporary change to the rate of Stamp Duty Land Tax for First Time Buyers: The temporary rate of Stamp Duty Land Tax for FTBs will be 0% on properties up to £250,000 for the next two years. For 2010, all other bands remain the same. Increase to 5% on properties £1,000,000 to be introduced in April 2011.
