And, because conveyancing is all we do, you can rest assured that your dedicated conveyancer will be with you every step of the way. They’ll inform you straight away if there’s been any progress in your sale or purchase, allowing you to sit back, relax and take a bit of time to think about what colour your new dining room should be!

Money Matters

When it comes to pricing we realise that many people are understandably wary when it comes to hidden fees and extra costs. That’s why we operate on a no hidden fee basis and we include the telegraphic transfer, archiving and ID checks within our legal fee. And, if your move doesn’t complete, you can rest assured that you won’t have to pay for legal services you no longer require – because we offer a no move, no legal fee policy!

We’ve even designed our conveyancing service to fit around you…yes, you!

We understand that many of our clients are busier than ever these days, so 1st Property Lawyers have evolved to meet their individual needs. Unlike many traditional high street law firms, 1st Property Lawyers are open until 8pm during the week and even over the weekends too – meaning you’ve got more time to get in touch with us if you have any questions about your move.

Plus, our enhanced online conveyancing service means you now have even more access and control over your conveyancing. You can view, complete and upload key forms and documents via your computer and, because we’re really forward thinking, we’ve even developed a mobile conveyancing site so you can keep tabs on your move whilst YOU are on the move.

For the first time ever movers can carry their entire case file around in the palm of their hand!

So if you’re buying, selling or even re-mortgaging a property, get in touch with 1st Property Lawyers and we’ll show you the modern way to move!

They had a very professional manner and were always only a phonecall or email away from any questions that i had. The sale went through very quick and everything was completed to the highest of standards. I would reccomment this firm to anybody as they were great value for money and professional. This was my first house purchase but they made this very easy and i will use them again in the future.

I had to chase them a lot to get the information and even had to call the Bank to make sure that we have the money on time for completion. So, communication could improve a bit. I liked the eway application and that the operators could also answer some of my questions and I did not have to wait for the conveyancer to be available. Overall, they did a good job, although there were some mistakes made.

As a first-time buyer (aged 61!) I was unsure about the conveyancing procedure and asked 1st Property Lawyers for advice. They went out of their way to help me before I had even made any commitment to go ahead with them, so I had no hesitation in opting for this company. I have not been disappointed so far - they keep me informed of the status of my case and keep in touch when anything needs to be done. I would recommend them.

I loved the secure online area, which made the process really quick and easy to manage. All the files I needed were at hand and organised in a sensible way for me to refer to, wherever I was.

Rebecca was great when the negotiations became tricky, and made the process much less stressful.

Straightforward conveyancing job, happy to use an 'on-line' lawyer rather than pay twice the price for personal service, but to be honest, in my limited experience of conveyancing, I doubt whether I would have got any better service or more attention if I had used a local conveyancer.

Everything is done online which is fair enough but then when you don't hear anything for ages it is a bit annoying having to keep chasing - their phone calls to myself have been few and far between and the conveyancing continues without much joy.

Good company. Only problem is they lost our signed contracts after receiving it and some inconvenience. However they were good and kept good contact and made us aware during all the steps of moving. Would recommend

Good out of hours response service, email followed up by a phone call at the weekend.
Really moving.com was really useful and to be recommended. It quickly gave 4 different companies which quoted 4 different prices all less than the quote given by the estate agent I used which I felt was pressurising me to use their service. (£400 difference from the lowest quote).

Clear information re "What happens next".

Good price and up to date easily accessible information as the case file is electronic. All correspondence, ie letters and contracts are accessible from the file. Your assigned a named person who will phone where necessary.

A very good, none intrusive, service todate. The service has not yet concluded

Only concern was when information posted to them did not turn up after a week and there response was to resend, which I was not happy to do. My concern being where was my personal information. It did however turn up.
