Yes I was a bit nervous about using an Internet company, but couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. Especially as it was so easy to contact Tom who always had time and patience to talk things through with me. A far better experience that when I bought a property a year ago using a conventional solicitors, who was hard to contact and far more expensive

Fantastic, finally a solicitor that is in the 21st Century and uses e-mail above (slow) letters. I would definitely use this company again and wished I had used them for my sale as well, rather than the Estate Agents recommended one.

Online tracking is really handy and they received my deposit within 2 hours of me sending via bank transfer, allowing me to exchange the same day. You are assigned your own caseworker from the start, who you can call at any time, however responds to emails just as fast!

Really, really can't say how pleased I am with them.

I've used Beaumont Legal three times and have found them to be helpful and efficient. I have been able to contact them when I wanted to, even outside what would be considered as normal office hours. Queries have been responded to promptly and the whole process has been relatively stress free.

I'm impressed by the service they have given and will definitely use them again provided the prices remain competitive.

Our experience so far has been very good and I'd recommend Beaumont Legal (in fact already have done). The online case tracker is great, staff respond to emails quickly (within a day or so usually) and have been very helpful. The price they quoted has really saved us a lot, so hopefully it will stick to this. My only comment is that I have had to chase a few times to find out what's happening - for example, the purchase of our first house fell through, and I had to email a few times to confirm that everything would be cancelled, and ask for the funds left on account to be returned by cheque, however once I had chased, the cheque was sent very quickly and all confirmed as cancelled. I have also had to chase for our second purchase to confirm all initial docs have been received, as I've had no response after returning them by email 6 calendar days ago. However I know that I am keen to keep things moving and am very organised, so for others this probably would't be any problem at all.

Very very pleased with the service Megan provided. Given that Beaumont legal is 200 miles from me, the use of email communication was very important. Beaumont Legal suggested that distance would not be a problem and they completely delivered on this. All the queries and questions I submitted were answered in a timely fashion, making sure that I was kept up to date, which is excellent. If Megan needed time to turn things around, or was going to be out of the office she informed me of this, so there was no concern that "things were not happening". Whilst conducting a house purchase can be stressful, it was good to know that Megan was not adding to this and in fact removing some of the stress. I would not hesitate in recommending Beaumont Legal and Megan Neethling to everyone.

Don't use them. It took 16 weeks for a simple transaction and we were cash buyers. Communication was non existent until the end when everyone had clearly had enough of being patient a complaint was made and the staff were told to contact me. I found most of my information through the estate agents! There were also minor (I hope!) mistakes that just compounded the aggravation. Not a good choice

Company response: Sadly this case included delays that were out of our control, including one where the seller’s solicitor took four weeks to respond to some of our enquiries, but we know this kind of delay can be frustrating and we’re sorry if we didn’t keep you updated enough throughout this. You also say you discovered information through the estate agent but we believe this relates to facts that were included in documents we had sent to you but that you may not have read fully. We’re not sure what the mistakes are that you mention but we would encourage anyone going through conveyancing to read all documents that are sent to them as they can help to reduce confusion and help ensure any errors such as incorrectly spelt names are corrected at the beginning of a transaction.

Correspondence is turned around really quickly, and on the rare occasions that our solicitor has been unable to reply to me almost immediately, she has contacted me promptly to set my expectations, and then replied within the timescale given. This means that I’ve always given the impression to the vendor and their solicitors that I am ‘on-top’ of the purchase process, which ultimately strengthens my position as a buyer. The quality of the work has also been excellent, our solicitor providing clear and precise information to us to enable us to make sense of the documents that we have received.
I am very pleased with my choice of Beaumont Legal. I was expecting value for money when the matter was opened, but I have also received a level of service that has exceeded my expectations.

A terrible company. Completely delayed the whole process. Only managed to speak to my solicitor twice on the phone in the twelve weeks it took them. I ended up in direct contact with the seller, with us going to and fro sorting out all the issues - Beaumont Legal should have been paying me. I would strongly urge any website promoting Beaumont Legal's services to strongly reconsider what they are doing.

Company response: We understand that you were unhappy with the timescale but, while this is at the high end of our estimated 10-12 weeks for a leasehold transaction such as yours, your case took only 8 weeks from us receiving the contract pack to completion, which is not slow for a leasehold.

We're sorry you feel you didn't speak to your solicitor enough but the team working for you was made up of Solicitors, Legal Assistants and Legal Secretaries and I understand you spoke to several people throughout your case. Our Solicitors handle much of the detailed legal work and answer complex questions involved in a case but the other members of the team are also available to answer the majority of the more general questions, especially the extra ones first time buyers like yourself have. We're sorry if this wasn't made clear enough; your solicitor has already spoken with her team about how this will be improved in future.

Very efficient and well worth considering if customers are computer literate and happy to exchange most documents by email. Frequent telephone contact was made during exchange and completion period. Highly recommend as you have a named solicitor handling the transactions supported by a team who respond promptly to emails.
