MSA Surveyors are an independent firm of Chartered Surveyors, established in 1979. We offer customers a wide ranging of professional services, including the Homebuyer Survey and Valuation (HSV) and the residential building survey (RBS). The HSV is a survey completed to a format prepared by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). It doesn’t detail every aspect of the property, focusing on urgent needs of repair only. It is best suited to modern, conventional properties. In contrast, an RBS, formerly known as a structural survey, comprises a comprehensive inspection and a report in a style to suit the property and the customer’s requirements.
