Pollards Moving & Storage Ltd, are a family owned removal & storage company based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. Pollards have quite quickly become known as one of the areas leading professional removal companies and specialises in both domestic and commercial sectors.
We aim to meet your expectations when moving your belongings. We understand that it can be one of the most emotional and stressful days of your life and we use our knowledge of the industry and many years experience to remove the stress of relocating.
We are a fully accredited member of the National Guild of Removers and Storers, and all our staff are trained to high standard and with the expertise and guidance of the NGRS.
Packing
Pollards Moving and Storage can provide a wide range of packing materials including plastic crates, cardboard boxes, bubble wrap and heavy duty lifting equipment. Porters are available seven days a week to pack your possessions or you can simply pack yourselves, with us providing all the necessary materials.
Storage
We can offer you low cost and easily accessible storage facilities at our warehouse in Halifax. Our premises are protected by a state of the art CCTV security system which allows you total piece of mind while your possessions are in our care. Pollards can offer individual containerised units right through to the cheaper pallet and cover storage.

Every company relies on the quality of its staff. At Pollards we are no exception. Our targets are the highest in our field, and our staff are of a quality to match. Polite, friendly, honest and well presented, you will find we go out of our way to be helpful in any way required. Quotations and Pricing
At Pollards we believe that no two jobs are the same. To gauge each removal properly, a representative will call to assess your needs and then plan the operations. From this we can give an assessment of time, manpower requirements, and advice on any matters which may cause concern. This method allows each job to be calculated on its own merits, keeping costs to a minimum.
Insurance
For your peace of mind we offer you a standard insurance policy which covers all your belongings from the beginning of the removal until the job has been competed. It covers handling, packing, loading and unloading of your goods and also whilst your possessions are in transit. We can also offer you additional or specialist cover should you require it for any valuable items.

Would recommend Pollards in a heartbeat. Despite a really late confirmation of moving date (which changed from the original date I'd give Pollards) I wasn't chased for payment or hassled in any way. On the day Brent and Jason were fantastic, really nice guys and everything was done quickly and smoothly.

I would highly recommend using Pollards removal company. Danny Pollard was very helpful and made me feel at ease when he visited our old home to give us a quote. He gave advice on packing my items (as i was doing it all myself) and even on choosing a removal firm if we didnt choose his. I got 4 quotes in total from different firm, even though Pollards was not the cheapest we chose them because of how professional Danny was and we felt comfortable with him. The lads on the day came at 9am (as stated by Danny) and were very hard working and polite. They had the old house packed up by 1pm and our new house unloaded into by 5pm.....very friendly bunch of lads and worth every penny. My parents are hoping to move this year and i've already told them to use Pollards. They made what couldve been a very stressful 1st moving house experience a joy and quite a fun day!!! 10/10 i can't fault them!!!

They were amazing. All belongings packed in good time with care ( we experienced no breakages). The team of packers were very professional but also very friendly with myself and my children ( who we in the house during the packing also).
I would highly recommend Pollards to anyone moving house, we couldn't have asked for more from them.

i was suprised at how uch this service actually cost compared to a 'man and van' but did find the staff more relaible and very willing to help with lifting etc. it was a much less stressful move!

Very useful to have access to reallymoving.com initially. So far, Pollards have been the best firm dealt with - Mr Pollard was the only representative of any company to come out to view the content and discuss the move, which is why he is getting the contract! Move has yet to take place, so unable to comment on the success or otherwise of this.

The staff were very efficient and professional. They contacted us on the day of removal to advise of their estimated time of arrival, which was accurate. Upon arrival they conducted the whole loading operation quickly and without fuss. At our new home they unloaded our furniture etc quickly and again with the minimum of fuss. They made the whole experience of moving home much less stressful and we would have no hesitation in recommending Pollards
