Of the 3 companies whose information you sent me, 1 didn't deliver to Germany, 1 didn't respond to my email, so I contacted Caledonian.
Everything seemed fine to start with: they uplifted the 2 lots of goods on 4 Nov 09, put them in storage and I paid them in full (£1,391.50) at the beginning of Dec 09 with their promise to deliver (to Nurnberg & Stuttgart) before Xmas.
Despite regular phone calls & emails, Caledonian has failed to deliver the 2 loads, or provide any explanation of the delay, or even to phone me back. Every time I want information, I have to chase them, and today (9 Mar 2010) was the final straw. I phoned the company and got through to David, but he put the phone down on me. I phoned back and left a voicemail message, but he hasn't called me back.
If there is anything you can do to help, I would be grateful. The 2 loads were the items my brother & sister chose from our mother's house after her death and many of them are unique: paintings by a great-aunt, our dad's war medals, my great-grandmother's silver teapot.
We are all very upset by what has happened and don't know where to turn.
