Michael Hadley Chartered Surveyors is an independent practice of RICS Chartered Surveyors specialising in surveys of all types of building in Birmingham and the Black Country, Worcestershire, Warwickshire and north Gloucestershire. We aim to give our clients a quality service both in terms of the survey itself and the speed of supply.
Based in both Redditch and Birmingham, we have been providing surveying services since 1985. We are specialist surveyors, not estate agents, and regularly carry out work on all types of houses, including old, traditionally built houses such as stone-built and half-timbered cottages/houses. As well as Homebuyer and Building surveys, we can also offer reports on specific defects, domestic energy assessments, and pre-sale surveys.
We aim to provide a friendly, personal and professional service, and are always willing to discuss any concerns you may have. Our on-line quotes are only a very rough guide, so please ring us to discuss your requirements as we may well be able to give you a lower quote for a relatively modern or small house of standard construction.
Although we do ask you to sign and return a letter of engagement upon instruction, we do not ask for payment in advance, but send you an invoice with the report.

A swift and detailed reply, suggesting options for my specific requirements which turned out to be cheaper than the original more automated type quote (which would have been the cheapest anyway). I highly recommend the firm, as I would also reallymoving.com as I was scratching my head as where to start.

The survey is being carried out this week but I was very impressed with the helpful email I had in response to mine re query about cavity wall insulation, firstly that they bothered answering at all, and secondly that it addressed my query, and this was before I had booked the survey.
