A qualified Surveyor will call at your property to discuss your requirements. Once your details are completed, a written estimation will be forwarded with a full and comprehensive report on the costs involved. Along with your estimate you will receive an information pack which contains packing advice, and helpful hints & tips on planning your move day.
We can offer you a full or partial packing service which will be carried out by our experienced packing crew. If you prefer to carry out your own packing, a full range of packing materials can be supplied at very competitive prices. Un-packing of goods and removal of debris can also be carried out at an additional cost.
We can also arrange for safe and environmentally friendly disposal of un-wanted items of furniture, some of which may be suitable for donation to our local charity ‘Turntable’.
Dismantling and re-assembly of furniture is occasionally required, this can be arranged for a nominal extra fee.
Upon arrival at your property, our vehicle will begin to set up in readiness for loading. Our large vehicles are equipped with rear and side loading doors for ease of loading. An adjustable ramp system is used to accommodate most designs of driveway.
Once set up is complete and internal floor coverings are down we can begin with the loading process. The completion time of the load varies according to the cubic capacity of the job, but usually is between 2-3 hours.
Upholstered furniture will be protected with custom made covers; other furniture will be protected with standard blankets. Wardrobe cartons are provided for efficient transfer of hanging garments.
At your new property, all goods are placed in required rooms and protective covers are removed.
