Clark & Rose was founded by David Clark and Robert Rose in 1906. The original business was a bicycle and van hire operation, which subsequently branched out into deliveries. Eventually, the business moved into haulage and removals.
From these humble beginnings, several generations of our family have worked together to create an international removals business. Today, the company has a worldwide reach and a reputation for delivering quality service of which we are justifiably proud.

Moving in the UK
Our removals service covers the whole of the UK. We have the people and experience to ensure a smooth journey wherever your moving to in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland or Wales.
We will send a qualified surveyor to your home to assess all your removal needs. They will record all items that need to be handled with particular care such as antiques, breakables, fine arts and pianos. Careful preparation and planning is the key to ensuring that everything runs efficiently on the day. And it doesn’t matter how much you need to move – no job is too small or too large!
Moving Abroad
If you are moving overseas, we can offer a door-to-door international service. Whether you are moving from Glasgow to Geneva or Milan to Montreal, we can guide you every step of the way.
Our relationships with major overseas agents and internationally recognised bodies throughout the world ensure our coverage really is global. We will assist with queries about documentation or customs. And our export wrapping service, where items are individually secured in specialist packaging, will ensure that your belongings are given the best possible protection during transit.
Moving your business
Our commercial relocation service ensures that disruption of your business is kept to a minimum.
Careful planning, surveying and regular contact are all standard. Office equipment is moved using stackable crate systems, and we use specially constructed boxes for transporting computers. All crates are labelled in accordance with your new floor plan, ensuring everything is moved with the minimum of fuss and disruption.
