Moving can be one of the most stressful times in a person's life and we are committed in our approach to simplifying the whole process of shipping, making your international move as easy as possible.
An overseas move consists of six parts:
Part 1 – Get in contact
Part 2 – Pre Move Survey
We send a representative to your home who will go with you, room by room, to view, measure and assess the proposed volume of your household effects. Depending on the size of your property this will take between 45 minutes to an hour and a half.
Part 3 – Formal Quotation
Following our visit, you will receive a written quote within three working days, highlighting the service that will be undertaken by Global Relocations, according to your removal requirements.
Part 4 – Move Day
A lot of care and preparation has been taken into account so that the crew will arrive with all the relevant materials to ensure that your household effects are professionally export packed and wrapped. In addition, they will label each item and create an inventory list, which you will sign and keep a copy of for your records.
Part 5 – Ocean or Air Freight
If you have enough possessions to warrant a Full Container Load (FCL) as assessed in our pre-move survey, then the container will be positioned outside your residence (assuming normal access) for the crew to securely load, seal and transport directly to the port of exit and shipped to its respective destination.
Part 6 – Delivery at Destination
Our global networks of accredited agents operate to the same protocol to ensure that clearance and delivery is seamless. They will make contact and arrange a suitable delivery time to unload and unpack your effects and clear any unwanted rubbish from your new property.
