Very odd company to deal with. Communication very poor. All contact I had with them I can only describe as strange, didn't feel professional or give me any confidence at all. Would have cancelled after booking if I could, but would have lost a chunk of what I had paid up front for the survey so had to proceed. Not the cheapest either. Survey quality was reasonable (when I eventually got it, very late) but I've seen a lot better and more thorough for a lot cheaper. Not recommended.

Company response:
We are not sure what this lady means by "odd company" or "can only describe them as strange". If she felt that we were not professional at the time of the booking, why did she go ahead and book the survey?
We received her instructions for a building survey on October 30. We sent her a Letter of Instruction the next day (nothing odd there!). We arranged access with the agents and the survey was booked for November 7 which she knew about. On November 8 she emailed to say that we had not contacted her since she paid for the survey. We emaild back on the same day and informed her that the survey had taken place as planned and that the report would be sent to her as soon as possible. We endevour to complete reports within 5 working days but the surveyor encountered structural problems in the property and needed to refer this to a colleague before submitting the report. The client was aware of this and in her email of November 15 she said "Thank you. I don't mind waiting if there are issues to be addressed". THe report was signed off and submitted on November 16. The report was clear and did not need further explanation, however our surveyor was available to her by phone to answer her questions. She was pleased and thanked him for his time. We do not think that 9 days to submitt a survey report is unreasonable considering that the property had a significant defect. . At the time of the booking she never made us aware of any time constraints. May we also add that every time she emailed us we replied. Her comments are untrue and unfair.
