As the former furniture inspector at John Lewis Cheadle, Ian has trained his staff to the required level and are polite courteous and fully uniformed.
We are also well versed in the dismantling and assembling of furniture if required and Ian personally oversees every removal. Storage is no problem to arrange and we can also provide a full packing service.

The two removal's men who came to us were excellent. Very efficient, polite and cheerful, however the things that I was told would happen were completely different from what actually happened.... they arrived, not at 8.30am as I was told on my confirmation letter, but at 9.45am! Panic!! They didn't phone to tell me they would be late because they weren't... their boss (who had told me they would be here at 8.30am... had told them to be here at 9.30! Then they weren't in uniform, as we had been told they would be (it doesn't bother me, but why say it?) and the van was a smaller one... I was told it would be done in one move, but it took three trips.... good job I only moved half a mile away! I was also told that I could use their wardrobe box to transfer my items on hangers without the need for pre-emptying my wardrobe... oh no, couldn't do that either! I was happy that I got moved on the right day by some nice guys, but the management doesn't seem to know what it's doing and if these things are important to you, maybe pay more money and get what you pay for!

Hazel was a really nice customer to deal with, there was some confusion over the start time and that was not helped by the fact that the guys got stuck in really bad traffic but do apologise for the guys not ringing as they normally do in the rare event of being late, with regards to the vehicle i did offer to send in a second vehicle but to save on the extra expence and as we had all day to move the customer went for the one vehicle option and was fully aware we would be going for a return trip, as there was not much time between the booking and removal day i had to go on the items the customer informed me of and it worked out at around 1200 cubic feet, unfortuanatly the customer vastly underestimated and in the end we moved 1800 cubic feet which matthew and grant completed with the minimum off fuss and was done in the day finally even tho the removal took two hours longer than originally planned the customer was not charged any additional amount., many thanks Ian Goulden

Good e-mail communication direct from Ian Goulden which was very reassuring.
Matt and Grant worked extremely hard, unfortunately some of the time in the rain, and everything went perfectly (from my point of view). It was very hard work for them at my new address as they had to carry everything up 19 concrete steps from the ground floor to the entrance to my flat. I can't thank them enough.
I have already passed Romans' details on to my former next door neighbour as her mother is, hopefully, moving into the house I have vacated - sorry lads!!

Roman removals got back to me the same evening that i made the enquiry at reallymoving.com. Didn't get a reply from anyone else until much later, some, several days later! We spoke on the phone, emailed and everything got organised with very little effort. On the moving day, all went to plan. The team that came were courteous and helpful, making what could have been very stressful, a relatively easy day. I would recommend them to anyone. Thankyou.

The 3 guys who did the move were friendly, professional and worked hard all day in order to complete the move from Crewe to Leeds. The price was great (by far the lowest quote) and the service was equally great - thank you. I would recommend Roman Removals to anyone.

Wow - these guys did a great job.
