First established in 1979, we are one of west London's principal independent surveyors. We carry out residential and commercial surveys for prospective purchasers, for residential property usually a Home Buyers Report or a Building Survey. If you visit our website you can see the official RICS guidance note to deciding which survey to choose, and see samples of both. We have a fast turnaround, and usually for a residential property you will have a report in about 5-7 days from instruction. We have had many clients come back to us, some many years after we did their original survey. As well as the average house, we have specialist knowledge of historic and “listed” buildings.
We are also Chartered Valuation Surveyors and RICS Registered Valuers. This means we have a higher level of qualification for valuing property, usually required by lending institutions. So as well as valuing property for individuals, we also value property for several banks and building societies, plus valuing property for courts (via solicitors) where there may be a matrimonial or other dispute relating to property value.
We are specialists in the Party Wall Act, advising and representing clients where they are building or extending which may affect their neighbours. We act as expert witnesses for most types of property and construction related disputes, which is essentially preparing an independent report for the court to understand the “truth” behind the dispute.
