R M C Estates is an independent firm of chartered surveyors covering residential and commercial property based in Cardiff.
We specialise in providing the new RICS Homebuyer Report which is generally suitable for properties up to 150 years old. The report will be carried out by a Chartered Surveyor with 20 years experience in the property profession in South Wales.
This report is suitable for cash buyers and to accompany a mortgage valuation. A mortgage valuation is carried out on behalf of the lender and is not a survey and will not provide the information the buyer needs on the condition of the property. The lender often recommends that the buyer should have an independent survey which is also advised by the consumer association.
The Homebuyer Report will help you:-
- Make an informed decision on whether to go ahead with buying the property
- Decide what is a reasonable price to pay
- Take account of any repairs or replacements needed
- Consider if you need any further advice before exchanging contracts
We provide RICS property valuations which are appropriate for probate and matrimonial cases. Also we cover other areas of surveying and would be happy to give you advice and a free quotation with regard to additional services required.
