BUILDING SURVEYS
The ‘gold’ service in terms of professional pre-purchase property inspections. Not all surveys are the same and you will get what you pay for. We provide a full and comprehensive survey and inspection report that includes a schedule of essential repairs and cost estimates along with illustrative photographs. If problems are identified, we take time to investigate whilst on site and report the problem in full with a positive solution and cost advice. We can assist with contractors’ quotes and managing the works if needed. Formal Valuation advice is provided within our Building Surveys.
RICS HOME BUYER SURVEY & VALUATION
The ‘silver’ service and a general inspection report that suits smaller properties built after 1900. It is a standard form of reporting for clients that need peace of mind and an independent opinion of the property's overall condition and value.
STRUCTURAL INSPECTIONS
A specific defect report or a whole house inspection dealing with structural elements only. We can advise on settlement, subsidence and general movement or cracking with illustrative diagnostic reports and sketch drawings / remedial detailing. We can assist with arranging appropriate contractors and certifying works.
EXPERT WITNESS REPORTS
We provide a range of expert advice on a number of property-related matters and prepare expert witness reports for building disputes inc; Landlord & Tenant, Housing, Dilapidations, conservatories, window installations and faulty building construction.
PARTY WALLS
We regularly act as Party Wall surveyors and can prepare notices and awards. We assist with boundary disputes and prepare pre-start schedules of condition.
ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
We have a small in-house design team and regularly prepare quality architectural scale plans from simple internal alterations to extensions and new build construction in the private and commercial sectors. We can assist with project budgets and management of works to contract administration and certification of accounts.

I was very impressed by the rapid response from all four surveyors in following up on the quotes and would use reallymoving.com again.
Outwood Surveyors was initially the highest quote but responded with an e-mail that accounted for my individual circumstances (I am the vendor) and proposed a tailored solution to my problem which came in much cheaper. The service delivered has been very efficient and of a very high standard and I would have no hesitation in using David Strettle again or recommending him to others.

Mr Strettle calmed me down and reassured me about the problems with my property. I will certainly contact him in the future should I require a second opinion once the insurance firm have finished their surveys.
