Hughes Surveyors was established in 2000 by John Hughes who has 22 years surveying experience.
John is a Chartered Building Surveyor who has surveyed many building types and has a comprehensive technical understanding of building methodology.
All surveys are carried out by John and if you have any specific concerns the survey can be tailored to meet your requirements.
We aim to have reports sent out within 48 hours of the survey date and are happy to discuss the report once you have read it.

The process of using reallymoving.com was quick and simple, it saved me a lot of time. I was provided a selection of companies to chose from with various prices.
The service provided by Hughes Surveyors was good value with a comprehensive report. John was able to comple the survey within a couple of days and the report was provided the working day following the survey. John was happy to talke through a few questions that I had.

I was very impressed with HUGHES SURVEYORS, they were very efficient.
I had contacted and spoken to John HUGHES on a Friday requesting a Full Structual Survey and had advised him that I required the survey quite urgently. He had arranged an appointment for the following Monday, after which he walked me through the house and pointed out any major issues. The full report was completed by Wednesday. I would definately recommend HUGHES SURVEYORS.

John was a pleasure to deal with throughout. The survey was carried out within a few days of contacting him and was very thorough & detailed. He made himself available by phone and was very happy to discuss and explain all aspects of his findings at length. The property was a 300 year old grade 2 listed cottage. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

We dealt direct with John Hughes and I have to say after previous frustrating experiences with building surveys, where you are not a lot wiser after the survey than before, that the service he provided was second to none. I cannot speak to highly of the survey we received.
John contacted us within hours of receiving the request. He carried out the full building survey at quite short notice and dealt with arranging to get access to what was an empty property without incident.
The report was received within a couple of days and was very comprehensive indeed giving us all the information that we needed and going into great detail into every aspect of the property.
I rang John after receipt of the service to talk through a few points and found him very helpful indeed.
All I can say is that if you need a full survey of an older property carried out I can thoroughly recommend his services, certainly I would contact John if we have need of a property survey in the future - but not too soon I hope!
