The newly opened St Ives office (Cambridge) is part of a successful expansion drive into the East of England headed up by Marcus Hood who has lived and worked as a Chartered Surveyor in the area since 1987 and has over 12 years experience in Residential Surveys and Valuation in this region.
Arranging a survey is relatively simple and provides an economical way to avoid unpleasant and often costly surprises after moving in. Indeed the report may even enable you to renegotiate the price. It is important that before you decide to go ahead and commit yourself legally to the purchase your RICS Surveyor answers the following questions for you:

- If so what do I need to do about them?
- Are there any health and safety issues that my family and I should be aware of?
We provide three different types of “survey” to suit your needs – Valuations, RICS HomeBuyer Report & Building Survey. Trafford Surveyors are local to the property and are members of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) and carry professional indemnity cover. We will provide you with no obligation advice on the type of survey required in your individual circumstances.
