reallymoving.com made life so much easier than having to phone round for quotes - removal companies came to me!
Chess Moves were really helpful, quick and professional throughout. I am something of a hoarder so when they quoted £200 extra to pack my entire home contents for me the day before my move, I jumped at the chance. I fully expected the two guys that arrived to pack to have to work late into the night to get everything boxed, but by 4pm they were done! The move itself was also remarkably smooth and quick and the guys on the van stayed cheerful throughout, despite having to negotiate the M25 in torrential rain then get up to a 7th floor flat! Even the small glitch of a former-flat-pack bookcase giving up the ghost was dealt with really efficiently - even though it wasn't worth the excess on the insurance, I was still offered a small amount of compensation for the inconvenience.
I would have no qualms about recommending either reallymoving.com or Chess Moves - in fact, if I ever move again, I would gladly pay the extra to have Chess come up from Hove to move me from my flat in Essex rather than have to look for another local firm. I genuinely trust the guys at Chess Moves, and in this day and age it is not always easy to find a firm that wholeheartedly believe in integrity and customer service as these guys do.

Having never moved before, i expected a couple of old crocs sucking their teeth and saying that will never go in there or cant do that mate. Chess only got three days notice of our move and were top notch. The lads that came to us could not have been better. Their attitude was to totally help us in whatever way they could. Nothing was too much bother.
