We are an established, experienced family run business, trading as a removals company for the last ten years. I am a holder of certificate of profession competence (CPC). I am also a highly experienced driver, having dealt in transport most of my life and most jobs are supervised by myself as owner.
Standard liability insurance is included in all quotes and also free boxes and bubble wrap. A full packing service may be requested, which covers small items up to a complete house pack.
We cover all mainland Britain, and France and Spain from Britain. You will have complete confidence in our teams and be totally satisfied! We move anything smoothly…even your mother-in-law!

We have recently moved from Essex to Lancashire and used Smooth Moves. We found Smooth moves to be very reliable, proffessional and great value for money. John was contactable at all hours to deal with my many questions about our move and always with a friendly response. The whole team was very friendly and helped to make our move as easy as possible. We would definately recommend to smooth moves.

Very pleased with Smooth Moves, lovely lads and very helpful, cheerful and friendly. Reallymoving saved me loads of time wading through the phone book and internet. I was pleasantly surprised when this company came up on my first search for a removal company in Southend, it didn't take long to complete the form for the quote and I got 5 good quotes all pretty similar. We chose the company closes to us and as I say we were well pleased with the whole experience from start to finish. Well done all involved.

john was very friendly and accomodating,particularly as we had to keep changing dates and in the end could only give him 10 days notice.
The move went smoothly ,john and his team loaded the removal lorry efficiently and quickly and was the least stressful part of selling and buying another property.
