SMÔVE was founded in 2000 by Jason Burton.
After leaving University in 1990, Jason worked for Andrew Bruce London where he was responsible for orchestrating and managing the office moves department and clients including Lloyds of London, Citibank and Shell UK.
In 1997 Jason joined Martin and Parke Antiques, overseeing the transportation and shipping of fine art and antiques and liaising with sister companies in Europe and the USA.
SMÔVE was born as a man and van service. Jason's first-rate customer focus and innovative marketing flair soon created for SMÔVE an unrivalled reputation for excellence in Surrey. It expanded rapidly and now boasts five staff and a range of vehicles to suit the customers' transport needs. Jason is hands on and attends and works on most jobs to oversee the detail, logistics and your peace of mind.

We were impressed by the service provided by Smove. They came to they house so that they could provide an accurate quote and were willing to make adjustments for our needs. We wanted everything to be delivered into the garage at our new property rather than having to bring it all into the various rooms in the house and so it was agreed that only one person would need to make the delivery, thus saving us £100. Other companies we contacted were not willing to make such an adjustment. On the day of the move everything ran like clockwork and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to others.

Very pleasant and polite people to deal with and they took a lot of care with my furniture. Very respectful of clean carpets etc. which was much appreciated and they were incredibly quick too, arrived with lots of helpers and were well organised and methodical. Highly recommend them to others, one of the best 'moving' experiences I've ever had and I've used several companies over the years.

Smove provided a good and enthusiastic contact. The price change was quite understandable as access is not simple to the present property therefore Jason had to consider the best way of providing the best resource.
Other companies did contact me but I realised their quotations would have to increase proportionally and in some cases on speaking to them lorry sizes were a problem, ie too large for being able to park in a narrow road without causing congestion problems.
Trhe service you provide is very useful and I have passed your site onto others for future reference.
