For someone in a hurry and with little expertise in this area, reallymoving.com provided 4 estimates, 2 of which were followed up (Miller Metcalfe within minutes) with phone calls from the surveyors and lower quotes offered.
Miller Metcalfe did everything they said they would do within the time scales they said they would do - other than respond to a supplementary e-mail. Their report was exactly what was required and the vendors commented positively on the way it was done.

Very impressed with the service provided by Kelly and the team at
Miller Metcalfe. As promised, I received a verbal report from the surveyor upon his completion of the survey. The report in full was sent by email the day after.

I have been really impressed with the advice and service I received from Miller
Metcalfe. They put our mind at rest over concerns and time scales and understood the urgency of the survey required, which is always helpful for first time buyers!
They were completely professional, I would recommend them to anyone.
Reallymoving.com were also fantastic in suggesting the right surveyors for me!!

With little experience of house surveys, this seems to me to have been done professionally with a minimum of fuss, within good time and on the date agreed. We received a call from the surveyor the next day and the results were also provided by email within a few days. The cost seems to be very competive and I would use this company again.

Although we felt that the price was very reasonable the surveyor was very slow at providing feedback. We were promised that the day following the survey we would be given verbal feedback. We had to chase them for this twice and only received the feedback several days later. We were also told that the written survey would be with us no later than a week after the survey took place again we had to chase this several times and it took over a week and a half to get this. Although these are not huge delays when you are going through the stress of moving house and other factors rely on the results of the survey it was very frustrating. I guess with all things in life you get what you pay for. If you are on a tight budget then I would definitely recommend Miller Metcalfe you just need to be a bit more patient.

Reallymoving offered us a really quick and simple solution to finding a surveyor. There's so much to do when moving house, it was great that this was so easy. We received several quotes and then made our choice from these. The staff at Miller Metcalfe have been very helpful.
