I didn't really have a point of contact, I just called up and they arranged it.
They could have been clearer about payment - they just sent me an invoice but on first contact they could have explained this....

Was impressed by proactivity of firm in calling to solicit business and pitch their services. Delay in producing survey was of the order of 2-3 days, communication certainly slowed after contract had been signed which was disappointing and since production of survey, no follow-up from company to clarify points raised or to ask for feedback which is disappointing.

I used them twice and was extremely satisfied with the service both times. The inspections were promptly arranged and the company dealt directly with the estate agents to gain access to the property, without me having to do anything. The reports were very comprehensive, clearly explained and gave me a precious support in making my decision. The level of details showed that the inspection had been extremely accurate. On one occasion I was also able to speak with the surveyor for further clarifications and advice on a couple of points.
I would strongly recommend Anderson Wilde and Harris to anyone looking for an excellent service, definitely worth the money.

I was impressed with the prompt response from the website and that two of the firms also got in touch very quickly (Anderson etc & Lewus). We went with Anderson as Lewis did not offer the building survey. The phonecall I received from Philip Treadwell and Anderson was very friendly and I did not feel pressured to use their services

Going through a nightmare sale and my usual suveyor were unable to carry out the survey - the website was great as it gave me local firms and the company rep was very friendly, confident and polite.
I required a urgent survey and they were able to book it in a couple of days - even with misplacing my details - hopefully the report will be comprehensive and as good as my usual surveyor - but for now there are no real complaints - I have just discovered that buyng property is a unpleasant necessity and you have to send a lot of time chasing people - however for now this company seems to be the better sort

reallymoving.com has been great. good contacts who called in minutes to start up dialogue.
AWH were just a bit slower in turning round the document than they had said they would be, due to workload (they quoted 3-4 days and it took 8 days which put more pressure on us) but they were friendly and as helpful as they could be

These guys are really passionate and dedicted to their work. When I phoned they were working in the dark...if that is not passion what is?
All in all they wre very helpful on the phone and gave advice which I used and got good results. I believe they are committed to their clients getting their matter resolved properly.
