Absolutely brilliant! Chris and Julian came on time, worked hard, organized the work very well, good labelling of boxes, careful with sensitive items, excellent attention to all specifics. Very impressive!

Easy to organise- instant quote over the phone, good availablity, moved us on a Sunday, didn't keep sending us massively detailed questionnaires that I didn't have time to fill in, like some companies!
Started the move an hour late vecause of a van problem- but we were kept informed. Once they arrived, they were polite, hardworking and helpful.
We were very pleased with the service we received.

The guys were prompt, pleasant and worked hard. I would have given them full marks except I found a scratch on the wooden floorboard after they had dismantled the wardrobe, and they should have mentioned this to me at the time.

While Simply Removals failed on 3 occassions to attend a viewings quote, they did make up for it with good customer service, a discounted fee and a free extra van. Lewis (the customer service agent) and the packing team in particular were very friendly & professional.

the service was cheapest and very quick ,overall very good
against=
1=they estimated 12-15.00 and arrived at 15.30 half hour late,but we expected this from their feedback! we were leaving empty flat and moving into empty flat so didnt matter.
2=the comparison estimate was lowest at £120 for 900 size van but on confurmation email the van went down to 500 and vate was added so minimum is actually £132
still cheapest and the van which turned up was plenty big enough (as promised ),for our one bedroom flat
GOOD POINTS
IMPORTANT we had white goods unconnected and every thing boxed up ready and waiting to go
the 2 men cleared whole flat in 20minutes and drove the 4 miles and carried every thing up to our new first floor flat in no time ,WHOLE MOVE WAS DONE IN 90 MINUTES!!!! SUPER!!!
TOP TIP it included the boxes of ikea cabinets for our new place,saved lugging them up stairs later !!!
ITS THE BEST £132 WE HAVE SPENT !!!! WHY STRUGGLE just to save so few beer vouchers???

Flat price which meant that no hidden charges appeared. Great service and the guys who came worked really hard. Very polite and quick. They took great care with the furniture and made certain that nothing was damaged. Would definitely recommend this company. Great job. Many thanks

The men who came to do the actual move were ok - not overly chatty or anything but they just got on with the job which they did well. However the office staff I am very disappointed with. We were quoted £204 for a move which was from a house to a storage unit. However as my luck would have it the day of the move the riots hit our area and the storage unit closed early without providing us with any notice. So when we arrived there with a truck full of items we were unable to access the storage. I spoke to the office who stated I would be charged double for a redelivery the following day. I then had to chase the office all of the following day to find out what time they would be redelivering. The delivery finally turned up at 8pm. I was charged £360 as they stated it wasn't their fault the storage unit was closed the previous day. I agreed with them but also said it wasn't my fault either and please could they send me an invoice so I can take it up with the storage management. I have been waiting for this invoice since 10th August and nothing has come through from them despite me e-mailing and chasing them. Disappointed with how prior to the move they were willing to help now they have my money they don't want to respond.

Everything about the company was so professional and the two guys who we had for the actual move were great. They were not only very efficient and quick they also took great care of our things even going as far as laying down blackets at our new house to walk over. I also thought the included insurance was an extra bonus (even though I didn't need to use it)

We got lumbered with 2 Lithuanians who made could hardly speak any english and were very miserable. They turned up after the allotted time, took several breaks and made an already stressful situation even more tense. They complained about us "not being ready to move". because there was some loose stuff that needed boxed. I told them at the start that we would deal with all those things but they proceeded to pack it all away (I would assume due to a lack of understanding due to their limited English). We took the cheapest quote and knowing what I know now, would not do so again.

Quality of packing was not greAt. But the removal teAm and telephone support was excellent. The movers should also be better prepared to reassemble items ( they lacked the necessary tools)

I was very impressed with Simply Removals. They turned up on time, and moved my things quickly and efficiently, from a second floor flat to a 3rd floor flat (no lift!), with no damage to anything. I would definately consider using them again when I move and would recommend them to anyone. They were also friendly, which helped take the stress out of moving!
