They were a really nice bunch of guys and Daniel took charge and was very professional.
There was a slight amount of damage to my dining room table and it is now being dealt with by their insurers and I have had follow up emails regarding this, so all in all a very good experience.

Really thorough initial survey which meant I had the right packing materials to complete the move. Professional job on moving; careful and diligent.

We were really impressed with the service, particularly with how friendly and hardworking the moving guys were, and with how polite Dan was when HR had to make the call to tell us the cost was going to go up; you would have thought it was his fault not ours that we had underestimated just how much stuff we had! Had a few problems getting bulky furniture in the right rooms at the destination but this was reflected in the final price. We were able to sort all but one of these later with a bit of handiwork, and now have a very nice outdoor wardrobe! We do apparently have the most awkward staircase they have tackled (they did not have great deal of experience with quaint country cottage being a London firm!)
All in all, very impressed with the quality of service and price; would definitely use Multimovers again, and recommend to others. Would also definitely buy the guys a well earned beer!

The quote was only more because they had to dismantle a wardrobe and charged extra £35 on the day. Dan did come round and done a full quote so on the day, I knew what I would be paying so was happy it was so near the final quote given. Estimate you gave was £350. Final quote was £390 and price on day £425.

If you are looking for excellent customer service as well as value for money then use Multimovers, they cannot be beaten on either. Brad and his colleagues were absolutely marvellous , if only I could have had them to install sky then my move would have been completely stress free.

Three guys showed up in a battered van. They weren't highly motivated as I understand they had been told they'd be out of a job at the end of the week. The guys were polite and flexible, but not as productive as my previous movers by a mile (2 people in 3 hours, versus 3 and over 6 hours)

Company response:
As this was a move which didn't actually require a vehicle we allocated our older 53 plate. This is still a reliable and road worthy truck which has completed many successful moves all over the UK. FYI our other two trucks are both 56 plates.
You moved a couple of doors down which required the team to walk approx 50 metres, therefore the vehicle was actually parked up out of the way and inconsequential.
As expected the team remained polite and helpful into their final weeks with our North London depot.
Regarding their productivity I think it may be unfair to compare 2 moves which were probably different in many ways.
1. You moved from a difficult 7th floor with a very small lift. All large items had to be taken down 14 flights.
2. The lift may have been occupied numerous times with other residents slowing the process?
3. A 50 metre walk which adds significant time - maybe your last move was with very good parking at both ends?
4. The majority of customers accumulate more for each move - maybe you had more to move?
The new property again was on a first floor therefore more stairs involved at the destination.
From the guys account this was a less than easy removal. They did take a 1/2 hour break however this was deducted from the bill.
If the team in question took other extended breaks then this is unacceptable and I would have hoped to be made aware directly or upon payment so that a reasonable deduction could have been agreed. This was not raised with me at any point.
Although I am sorry if the guys voiced their dismay at being let go in the near future, the team in question had an extremely good record with productivity and customer service so considering the above I am hesitant to accept this feedback.
Kindest regards.

Brad called to introduce himself, but was not at all pushy. He said he would be happy to price match, so when a company called later that day with a lower price but DID try to push me into paying a booking deposit by the end of the phone call, I contacted Multimovers to see if they would price match. They did, and I was happy to go with them. They were kind, helpful, and did a fantastic job!

We had excellent service; efficient, friendly and reliable on time. No problems with packing day before. Everything arrived safely and even though we had half our furniture put into storage , everything went to plan. Can't recommend Multimovers high enough and I would certainly use them again, should the ooccasion arise. They were also the cheapest of the companies quoting so full marks there as well.

Both me and my mum found Dan and Chris really personable and professional, nothing was too much trouble. They arrived not long after 8.00am and remained until late afternoon to assemble the piece of furniture in one of the bedrooms. I would recommend the company without reservation.

All aspects of the service were great, from the site visit by Dan, communication throughout and the removal team on the day. Everyone was so considerate of our home and belongings and the boys were perfect gents! No stress and no damage! I would gladly recommend Multimovers - after 20 moves we know the alternatives!

The person who came to do the survey underestimated how much stuff we had to move. Consequently, the removal men turned up with a van that was too small. They spent most of the day re-arranging our stuff in the van to try and pack everything in. It took them five hours to load the van and we had to leave some stuff behind because it wouldn't fit and I didn't want to wait any longer. When we got to the new property, they unloaded the furniture into the house, but all the boxed items were just dumped inside the front door and we had to put those in the required rooms. Not very happy with the service.

Company response:
Sorry for my late reply.
I guess there's always two sides to every story!
The customer insisted on a late start (11am) so her husband could get the train to the new address? If we could have started at our recommended time of approx 8am, then it wouldn't have felt like the day was slipping away.
The truck that turned up was a 7.5t vehicle capable of taking max 1100cuft. From the customers survey i noted down approx 900cuft, however it was very difficult to distinguish between piles of mess (which were supposed to be dumped) and actual stuff to be packed.
She was very under-prepared. They were still packing half their belongings when the team arrived. This meant my team were slowed down asking every time if bits and bobs are ready to be loaded etc. It would have taken max 3.5 hrs if all boxes were prepared. Maybe I should have foreseen a problematic move.
When the team arrived at the destination, parking was further than expected which again adds significant time and effort. She recommended parking on the wet grass and risk getting a HGV stuck?! The parking encouraged my team to ask for a little help so she wouldn't be charged more - which we are entitled to do if decent parking is quoted for but not available on the day. They helped with bits and bobs, no furniture.
The team said rooms were very full with both furniture, boxes and bits and bobs not packed, so boxes had to be left in the hall. The customer was ill prepared and simply wants to blame us.
Not very happy with the customer!
