We moved from a 3 bedroom house in London to a 4 bed cottage in West Sussex. The guys were on time, worked without a break and most of all sounded like they were enjoying themselves. I have never heard removal men laugh so much - it was great to hear!
My only slight reservation was that I had no paperwork and no deposit was taken before the move which made me slightly apprehensive. But there was absolutely nothing to worry about - London Moving made moving house stress free. I would recommend them whole heartedly.

friendly staff on the day, efficient, helpful, finished ahead of time
good value for money
however i was puzzled by he lack of email confirmation of the booking, full set of terms, breakdown of charges etc..i had to ask multiple times to get these..should be standard..

London Moving were fantastic! We were worried beforehand as we had so many boxes/furniture in our one bedroomed flat that it might be too much for the van, but they arrived in a proper, big removals van. The 2 men worked so quickly and efficiently, even though we were in a second floor flat with no lift. The whole job (Peckham to Ilford) was completed in 4 hours and at a really reasonable rate. We couldn't be more impressed and will definitely use London Moving again, and recommend them to everyone!

London Moving were fantastic! I chose London Moving after getting three quotes. I chose them because of the positive reviews they had received on Really Moving and they were the least expensive of the quotes. I found Helen responsive and customer focused .She arranged for one of her team to come and visit my house to better estimate the move . She was flexible in terms of the dates of my move in that I could only finalise the date of the move 5 days before it actually happened. She arranged for packing boxes to be delivered before hand so that we could start the packing.
The two guys who carried out the move were very personable and efficient, working very hard to get us in with minimal hassle. They even took away (for a nominal cost) a lot of refuse that we had accumulated.
So all in all a positive experience and I would not hesitate to recommend London Moving.

What a fantastic firm. We had 2 men to help us move and they were real gentlemen. They showed up promptly and had excellent manners. They made things as easy as possible for us and worked non stop all day. Highly recommend this firm, they couldnt have been better.

We used London Moving UK Limited for our move 4 weeks ago. I had obtained quotes from several companies which were all very similar but I decided to go with London Moving after reading the feedback on this site. I was very pleased with the service we received. The boys turned up about 20 minutes earlier than the arranged start time and worked very hard to load the van in a short amount of time. We offered tea and a bacon sarnie but they didn't want any! Unfortunately there was a slight problem with finding our new address - although we had provided the address in advance and also gave the postcode to the men on the day, plus the hospital next door as a landmark they ended up at a hospital in Kent and not Roehampton! You'd have thought that the difference in postcode would have been a clue but the guys were Polish and perhaps they didn't realise. No matter - they turned up 2 hours after us but were very apologetic and didn't charge us for the missing hours. The unloading was equally fast and the men took great care with the bigger pieces of furniture and also took their shoes off so they didn't walk on the new carpet with outdoor shoes. There were no breakages - the two things that broke were by my own fair hand. The only other issue was that we had arranged for the van to do a second pick up from a different property after the main move and the men weren't aware of this. When we told them they were very happy to do it so it didn't affect us; but it may have affected any moves scheduled for after us. On the whole, an excellent service and I would definitely use London Moving again (not that I am planning on moving for a LONG time!!).

Having never used a removal firm before my value for money rating is based on their price vs the others I was quoted. Helen was very friendly and helpful when I spoke to her to good service there. On the day, the guys who moved us, Chris and Jacob, were freindly and fantastic. They worked very hard and very quickly and really helped us in the move, even offering to move stuff around in our new house as we made our minds up. My one negative point was that I didn't think they were careful enough with some delicate objects, namely photos. On unpacking, I found that none of them had been wrapped and although fine, I would have put bubble wrap around them myself. However, all of our glassware and everything else was safe and sound and overall a great first experience of removals. Would definitely recommend.

Service was great. They arrived a little late to do all the packing on the Friday but caught up well on Saturday. Nothing broken or damaged and the guys worked like troopers all day!
Helen was really informative and gave a really good sense of confidence when I enquired which made me choose the company.

They left some of my belongings behind and my painting left in their van and was brought back 3 days later and left with my neighbour. Im in the process of arranging with my flat mate to collect the rest of my belongings. It was a 2 man van but not told so in advanced as I had to catch the train. My stuff was loaded in the van and not even my leather sofas were protected ie with blankets

Company response:
I spoke with the customer on the day of the move and we confirmed to her that a painting was left in the truck and that we would re deliver it as soon as we could. Given that we need to work for other clients we delivered it 3 days later as she was at work also. We left it with a neighbour at her request in a bid to conclude the matter.
All items were protected with soft, clean removal blankets and we do not advertise a client transport service nor did the customer request this from us at the time of booking.
In all other instances clients normally make their own travelling arrangements as by law this is not a service we are permitted to provide for hire and reward status as well as insurance purposes.
The flat was emptied of all items directed by the client, other people clearly live there and were remaining there. Maciek checked the property with the client on three occasions to confirm her wishes.
This was a particularly difficult client however the move was carried out successfully, the painting returned and our position in regard to the transport of clients made clear.
I am happy that this move went well and that the position was not and is not as stated by the client.
