HOMEBUYERS are risking thousands of pounds by not getting the right or even any survey to check that their new home is in good structural order, according to property experts.
Research by reallymoving.com has revealed an estimated 80 per cent of homebuyers do not commission any kind of survey, relying solely on the mortgage lender's valuation.
