Renegotiating price following Surveyor recommendations
I have found my dream home but the surveyor says there is a lot of work that needs to be done before we can move in. I now can’t afford the cost of repairs, can I take these out of the asking price, or will this mean I don’t get the house?
That's the beauty of using surveyors. You know the whole picture. Use this information to renegotiate on the price. These issues will be the same for any buyer, so I'd say be bullish and give it a go.
