What value mortgage can I borrow from abroad?
I am a first-time buyer from abroad (British citizen, right of residence in UK) wishing to purchase freehold property. In my mid 50s, continuing to work abroad, would I be eligible for a mortgage and over what period? Rule of thumb regarding amount of loan in relation to salary?
