What is the ex-partner legally entitled too
We recently tried to re-mortgage our house, when to our dismay we were informed by our bank, that there was a caution on the property. We are now aware that this is my partners ex partner whom the joint mortgage was taken out with initially, however after 6 months of jointly paying the mortgage, they separated and my partner changed the mortgage in to his name.My question is what is the ex partner legally entitled too after all these years?
