Struggling to sell our house
I have been trying to sell my three bed roomed flat for nearly a year. I am really worried that I am not approaching potential buyers effectively. Though I have asked estate agents to advertise the property, none of them have ever phoned to brief me on what is happening. About three months ago I decided to start placing advertisements in newspapers and a number of people have come to view the property. The problem that is always voiced is that there is no lift and the flat is on the third floor. What am I doing wrong?
I'd suggest you talk to the biggest and best estate agent in your area, at least the one that has the highest turnover of properties like yours. Ensure they've got a good web-presence and link in to a major national property portal. I don't think there's a better way of reaching potential buyers at the moment. Insist on communication. I think you have been your own worseenemy in not being more motivated sooner.
