Is there such thing as insurance for moving home?

For instance if the buyer pulls out, I would not lose the money I have already paid out?

I believe it is possible to obtain insurance from some estate agents who operate schemes that are supposed to protect buyers against

Sales falling through. Provision of this insurance was a fad about ten years ago and fell away. No doubt it will return when estate agents need further reinvention.

Someone has to pay for it though and it doesn’t actually stop the sale falling through and the hassle that the event physically causes.

The best insurance is choosing your buyer (and your estate agent) carefully.
