Renovation work
I am interested in buying a property that does not have roof felt. I am intending to renovate this property and would like to know if I need to take off the roof and put felt in so a mortgage can be obtained. Would you answer this question and any other advice about renovation with regard to getting a mortgage. Could you please be prompt as time is of the essence.
You may be able to deal with this by means of a retention (agree that it will be done in the future). Talk to the lender or get the seller to do it.
