The company was excellent and I will recommend them to any of my friends/work colleagues. I was very impressed by the professionalism of the two men and their calm approach during a period of much stress. They made the move bearable. They are a quality outfit and the service is definitely value for money. Highly recommended.

From the service yesterday, I was impressed with the two removal guys approach towards all my goods. The were very helpful and bent over backwards to provide an excellent moving experience. Consequently, it was not a stressful experience at all.

Was very impressed. Saleena dealt efficiently with my intial request and I couldn't fault the service. Someone called two days before my removal date to confirm details. On the day I received two texts, one to confirm removal team were on their way and one on arrival. Team were prompt, efficent, friendly and dealt with my stuff in an admirable manner. I would have no problem in recommending them to friends and work colleagues and will certainly use them again in the future.

I would never use Ecomovers again as I found them to be incompetent and there business practices dishonest. They under quoted to get the job then charged us for an extra 2 hours. When I booked I queried the salesperson as to whether 3 hours would be adequate and she said it had all been calculated due to the size of the property and the distance we were moving etc. So instead of paying for 3 hours as quoted we paid for 5. They arrived an hour and 20 mins late with no moving equipment i.e hand truck, trolley wheels and when I called there head office and spoke to the Operations Manager he said it was my fault as I should have requested this equipment. I argued with him for half an hour and he just kept saying there was nothing he could do and that I should have said this equipment would be helpful at the time of booking. They are no more than a 'man with a van company' and in no way a professional removal company. There customer service was appalling and I would advise anyone to steer clear of this business and their dodgy practices.

When you opted for our hourly rate man and van service offering, you accepted that this was an hourly rate service and the original estimated price was an estimate and not a fixed price quotation. I am sorry that the move took longer than our time estimate. However the estimate you accepted was based entirely on the information you gave to us. If you had presented an accurate picture of your circumstances at the time of booking and informed us that the distance from the lift to your property was 50 meters and not the “less than 20 meters” you told our operator, then your estimate would have indeed been in line with the 5 hours the job actually took. We always take detailed information from our customers including information on access to a property to allow us to decide on the type of service that would best suit each customer. Upon being asked, if you had advised us of the unusually lengthy access, we would have advised you not to take the hourly rate option and to avail yourself of Eco Movers’ free, no obligation site survey and a fixed price quotation. I fully appreciate that you were looking for an economical option hence your opting for a 1-5 pm flexible arrival time and a greatly reduced hourly rate. However given that you informed us on the day of the move that we would not be able to use the goods lift after 5 pm, perhaps you should have opted for a fixed time slot earlier in the day. Once again our estimates and the various options we offer are based on the accuracy of information provided to us by our customers. I would also like to apologize that we were not carrying a trolley to accommodate the long walk we were not made aware of. As discussed at the time the move was taking place when you called up to request a trolley, there are many pieces of equipment that we could equip our vehicles with as standard including piano wheels, pump trucks, piano shoes, furniture skates together with a whole range of specialist packing materials. We do not equip vehicles like this as standard because all of this equipment would take up too much space on the van and most customers would prefer we maximize space on the van to transport their goods and not carry unnecessary equipment. However unless our customers accurately describe their circumstances, then we cannot advise on the specialist equipment required and then make provision. Had we known of the 50 meter distance from the lift to the vehicle then we would have come adequately equipped. Once again, I would welcome the opportunity to discuss your move with you. The men that moved us were brilliant and moved us quickly. They came in cheaper than their original quote as they were so quick and professional. We moved from London to the midlands, which is quite a big move in itself. Ecomovers were great and made the move Ao smooth.

EcoMovers did a great job with our recent move. Their staff turned up on time on the day to pack and move everything to our new place. True to their company moto, they provided us with recycled boxes FOC for the move which also helped reduce the total cost.

Reallymoving was a fantastic one stop shop, enabling me to get three quotes. I hadn't moved before and so I didn't know where to start. It was a huge help. All three companies got back fast but with varying degrees of detail. Eco-movers came around that same day to do the quote and had the best price but they were also the most proactive and helpful too. Our moving date changed twice, and they were unfazed and flexible. The movers themselves were polite, professional and the service was excellent.

They were really professional, and packed the van so neatly that there was no wasted space, which was great as all our stuff only just fitted (this was our fault for under estimating the size of our flat). I would definitely recommend and use again.

The process of booking was very simple and being able to view amend on-line like a travel booking was easy and uncomplicated. Dealing with the company by phone was reassuring and their customer service was very good.

The removalo guys were helpful and polite and didn't break a thing during the move!

I would not recommned Eco Movers to anyone.

This is the most unprofessional removal and packing company I have ever used.
A terrible online system that not only confused me and the person I eventually had to call to sort it out. Added to which your service is effectively "on the meter", so there is no incentive for the teams to work fast.

No confirmation was ever given that the packers were actually going to turn up(as I was told they would) which caused panic.

When they did turn up they proceeded to take over 10 hours to pack up a small 2 bed house. We were accused of having too many possessions hence why it took so long, but as we start to unpack we are finding boxes with just 3 tea light candles in..and nothing else - currently the "winning" box, but we have had one with only 4 champagne glasses in as well, which comes a close second!

On the day we moved out, the packing took so long I and my pregnant wife had to help to speed them up.
Once they said they had finished I checked the house to find out bathroom hadnt been done at all and a bed was still upstairs.
Our possessions went into storage for 2 weeks and have been delivered and several boxes and a rug never made and we have had to wait over 2 weeks to get them back after repeated requests for them to be 24 hour couriered as we urgently need them!

If you are looking for a company with the backing, reputation and training of Cadogan Tate, that is Eco friendly and fairly local - and more importantly are looking for a company that will take all the stress out of the move ...then I can not recommned Ecomovers, who made our move a complete nightmare, hugely added to our stress and lost our possessions.

On the positive side the staff were all polite and I can not fault the actual packing, in terms of items breaking.

I appreciate you recognising some of the positive aspects of the service we provided you with as well as identifying where our service fell below our regular standard. I am very sorry that our moving service has failed to live up to your expectations. As you can see from previous customer feedback, this is not the normal service experienced by our customers. I am sorry that the original packing took longer than anticipated. I hope that the £273 credit we immediately applied to your account for the full additional time taken to pack up your fragile goods will go some way to compensating you for any inconvenience caused. When it comes to packing breakables such as fine stemmed champagne flutes, our staff are taught that there is no excuse for breakages and it appears in this instance they took the packing of your glasses to an extreme. I would also like to apologise that the service you received after the move was also not up to the standard we look to provide our customers with. I understand from the Operations Manager dealing with the redelivery of your items, that they have now been successfully delivered. However in recognition of this original shortcoming as well as the £273 credit, I would like to offer you or any of your friends and family an additional 10% discount on any future moves placed with us. On the positive side, I am glad that you found our staff to be polite and that all your fragile items were packed and transported without any damages. Please rest assured that we are taking your experience very seriously. We do security vet and train all our staff prior to allowing them to begin working for us but in this instance we will be providing follow-up training in packing skills for the crew involved to ensure they are equipped to provide a faster packing service in the future and that they strike a better balance between caring for a customer’s goods and the time taken to pack them.
