Professional and prompt with replies. They weren't the cheapest quote, but I'm glad I chose them. I would heartily recommend The Eric Whitehead Partnership to anyone.

They were much quicker at communication than anyone I used before. All emails were answered and mostly with a couple of hours. All went smoothly without rushing at the end. I would use them again.

Awful, even by solicitor standards. Whenever I spoke to my conveyancer, he seemed to have no clue what was going on. Our mortgage application sat on his desk for 6 weeks. When I asked about it, his response was "oh, I wondered what that was". There was no chain and yet the whole process still took 4 months. I gave them 1 star because against all expectations we did actually manage to complete, and with our names correctly spelt on the land registry.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear of your concerns. I have considered Mr Bowden’s files and have spoken to Mr Bowden personally and I must say that I do consider your criticisms to be somewhat harsh considering that (a) the sellers themselves could not complete until after 26th May and (b) on 6th May (having, on 29th April, instructed Mr Bowden to put a “stop” on your purchase and a “pause” on your remortgage) you instructed Mr Bowden to proceed with an early exchange and subsequent completion on 12th June. This is exactly what happened. The process did indeed take 4 months from start to finish; however, there are several reasons for this, none of which are mentioned in your feedback. Mr Bowden is a very experienced conveyancer, having undertaken such work since 1971. He regularly receives praise from his conveyancing clients (both established and via ReallyMoving) for his work and I am therefore surprised to hear that Mr Bowden “seemed to have no clue what was going on”. As I say, I have considered Mr Bowden’s files and it is clear to me that he undertook his duties in relation to your transactions in a professional and diligent manner. Kind regards. This has ran very smoothly and unlike other solicitors I have used previously, the solicitor kept in contact throughout, without me chasing them. Have 3 conveyancing jobs which will all be going through these.

Made the whole process stress free and made sure we hit our target date for completing. Had full confidence in them.

Would like to have heard a little more with regards to progress rather than ringing or emailing to find info out. Replies from the solicitor (not judith) appeared a little curt. Overall this transaction went smoothly and efficiently and I found the company to be very thorough
