Have taken too long to process sale considering both buyer and seller weren’t in a chain

Dear Customer, thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. We note your purchase took a little longer than normal as you agreed the purchase in November, however we did not receive your mortgage offer until mid- January. We are pleased to have now reached a conclusion for you and hope you are very happy in your new home.

Generally no problems. Info was occasionally slow to arrive but only by a few days. I think this is to be expected for solicitors.

I decided to go with this company as they had good client feedback & seemed good value, unfortunately that could not be any further from the truth. Throughout dealing with the purchase of my property, I had ZERO contact for the first 10 weeks after my initial deposit payment and I'd documenrs were processed. It was only after my estate agent and I continued to chase them, after vendor solicitor had dealt with everything it seemed my file begin to be worked on. But it took several messages and emails with no response to get any work started! I moved out of my rented house and informed them of my parents address, however my mortgage offer, plus other paperwork was sent to my old address. I wrote a letter of complaint and yet again STILL had to call them a week later to ask if they had answers to my complaint as they never acknowledged my written letter!! They offered me £100 goodwill discount of my fees. After much delays and frustration, My solicitor then started to prepare my file, finally after 12 weeks (and there was no chain). I was a FT buyer and the vendor was selling due to ill health so should of been a quick and simple sale. I decided to pull out of the sale and would sadly NOT recommend using this company. No ownership, no communication, very poor customer experience. In fact, the whole process I found was very unprofessional but I can confirm they are quick for the sales team to ring you, once asking for a quote I had a call after 10 mins. I felt my solicitor had way to many clients to deal with and was often told this by his paralegal and himself that he had lots of clients and could not always get back to people nor work on my case. Fair enough, but no updates with progress of my case, no return telephone calls, inportant mortgage documents sent to wrong address, this confirms to me they're to busy and it's all about revenue building for this company instead of client care which is highly disappointing.

Very slow to respond to messages , and emails , even slower with communication to buyers solicitors talking ages

We are surprised and disappointed by the comments. The enquiries were received from the buyers and were the next day sent to the client for comment. The matter is still on going.
