Excellent service from start to finish, especially from Tim himself who was superb. I would not hesitate to recommend them. It's just a shame everyone in our chain didn't use them, as there are clearly some really terrible solicitors out there!

Our case was completed in nine weeks, a very fast efficient service. Although we were contacting them at least once a week, but I understand this to be normal and our emails were answered within 48 hours. Sometimes we enquired about post that was sent, and after a week of it not arriving on there desk we had to suggest to look for it. We did find that we were not receiving information as soon as it was available and sometimes felt less knowledgeable about the case, especially when our seller would tell us what was happening before our solicitor. We did have a rather pushy seller and I do wonder that the reason our solicitor didn't tell us what was happening was because it wasn't the right time to know about it. We did however feel that sometimes we were actually doing some of the solicitors contact work for them. Again we had direct contact with the seller, which is not a usual set-up and would never recommend it and we were getting inventories directly from our seller as our solicitor hadn't.

In summary overall service was fast, but I feel there were a few information communication issues.

We’re always looking of ways to improve communication and we have made several enhancements to the online portal to ensure that customers can get updates at the earliest opportunity – including being able to directly message your case handler from an App on your phone. When we receive information from the seller’s solicitor, we check this and potentially go back to the other side to raise further enquiries before sending the information through to you. However, we appreciate this can be a stressful time if the seller is also contacting you direct.

Inefficient, slow, poor technology, unable to disseminate the information they have received. Could not recommend them.

Company response: We’ve chased the buyer’s solicitors to see if they are now happy with all they information we have provided to them and will keep the client updated with any further enquiries they may wish to raise. We know that it is frustrating when extra documents are requested and can see that the buyer’s solicitors have raised a higher than average number of enquiries. We are constantly looking to update and improve the customer instruction process so that information is collected at the earliest opportunity.

Wouldn't use or recommend again. Impersonal, no sense of urgency. Chasing for things to be done every step of the way. Important documentation sent with multiple errors on it.....

Company response: We understand that the conveyancing process can at times be frustrating and will of course look at ways in which we could have improved communication with the clients on this occasion – especially when we were waiting on information from other parties. We note that we always responded to online messages from the client within a few hours and despite not receiving draft contracts until the end of October, we still managed to complete before the Christmas break.
