The service provided was excellent. The guys sent to pack, load and unpack the following day were extremely professional, friendly and efficient. They made a potentially stressful long move very easy and stress free. They were willing to go that extra mile to ensure I was happy. They took care of our fragile items and dealt with any issues such as difficult access to rooms calmly and effectively.

Clockwork removals took the hassle out of moving furniture from my mother in laws flat to a care home. They arrived on time, loaded up within 30 minutes and I met them at the destination 2 hours later. They asked where to place items in her new room and went out of their way to help. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Great service. Clockwork we're very accommodating to our multiple changes of move dates as we had various issues with a buyer and vendor. In the end they fitted us in with only 10 days notice. Bogda did a great job packing the day before the move. The move then went without a hitch though the reassembling of furniture took the guys longer than expected so was hurried toward the end. Don't think the wardrobe is quite right. Generally clockwork made our move hassle free

Clockwork took £1900 for packing of furniture/plants from Streatham to Southend on sea. 15/07/2013 Exchange date 19/07/03 they delayed to send quote for three weeks I was on holiday, incorrect email address obtained by secretary. No other removal company available in such a short slot. Clockwork saw the opportunity to capitalised on this situation, and offered 18/07/13 My solicitor then got permission for access Keys only. On the 18/07/13 3:30pm clockwork advised their drivers that they were not to travel to Southend on sea it was against the truckers rules 'driving time'. I was advised that I had two options, the drivers could either onload back into my house that I had sold or I must find a storage company, they advised they could not store my goods. I was also advised, that I should have been aware of the truckers rules. I rang my daughter who advised Big yellow, the drivers drove from streatham to Balham, and unload my goods,. £500 for big yellow. No plants allowed, over £2000 plants perrished. The compnay demanded an additional £1100 to remove on the 24/07/13 I was shocked that they took all of $1900 for packing and travelling miles to balham to unload my goods. I had to pay Simple removal £804 to removal to my new home in Southend on sea date 21/07/13 This company came across as professional before they got the payment, after that they were not professional and not helpful. This is a SCAM and customers must be made aware. I had went in person to the company, the manager spoke to me like I was dirt, The enviroment that they worked was also not professional.

This was an unfortunate situation and demonstrates that occasionally things don't always go to plan in the lead up to a move and also on moving day. We have successfully dealt with many customer issues such as these and have always conducted ourselves at the branch in an appropriate manner and strictly adhere to our trading terms and conditions which includes all laws and regulations that relate to our staff on the job. A few points we would like to mention is that yes, the initial email address received by our move coordinator was incorrect, however there was no way of knowing this. The customer finally chased up the quote only 4 days before the move date. We offered the customer the move dates 17/07 and 18/07 which were agreed to as the customer said that they could get the keys from the vendor. The house was packed on the 17th, and there was no mention of difficulty in obtaining the keys to the new property in Southend. On the 18th our team loaded the truck by midday and were ready to drive to Southend, however were stopped by the customer as they did not have the keys yet. The Clockwork office team were not made aware of this situation and was under the impression that the truck was on its way to Southend as originally planned. At 3.30pm the customer called the Clockwork office to advise that they would not be getting the keys that day (claiming the vendors had lost them). The fact of the matter was that the completion of funds on her property was not happening until the 19th, this was verified by her estate agent. Unfortunately by this time in the day, our driver was unable to make the trip to Southend as they would not return until at least 1.30am after making the 3 hour drive there, unloading the truck and then driving the 3 hours back to the depot. It is against the law to go over the regulation amount of hours a driver can do in a day. The customer offered to pay us more money to do the drive, however as much as we would love to help, the situation was out of our hands. The law needs abiding fully as well as the safety of our staff which is of the utmost importance to us in addition to our customer care. The only solution available on the day was to find a temporary storage depot (as our facility was booked out) nearby to store the items until a new move day could be established. The customer asked when we were available to do the next move out of storage. We offered the first available date and sent a very competitive and reasonable quote for the job. Finally in regards to the customers plants, we stored these free of charge. The customer visited the Clockwork office a few days later and was quite irate and was shouting. The branch manager simply asked the customer to please calm down. The customer left the plants with no plans to pick them up for over a week. Unfortunately the condition of the plants in the end was no fault of Clockwork.
