Absolutely outstanding service - I would highly recommend - I asked if I could speak with the Surveyor after the rep[port had been issued and he was prompt at getting back to me - informative- friendly and just could not fault this service at all. 100% top notch service.

Very efficient service from start to finish. The survey was completed within 5 days of arranging the date and the report was issued to me on the evening of the day the survey took place. Report was generic in places, but provided me with the information I required.

Okay service and did things relatively quickly - instructed and paid over the phone on a Thursday and received the report the following Friday. However there was little to no communication from MAP when they said there would be, which as a first time buyer made the process a little daunting. We paid for the survey over the phone and were told we would shortly receive T&Cs to sign. Chased on the Monday as hadn't heard anything and was told they'd be sent that day. We didn't sign the T&Cs until the Thursday, yet the survey had taken place on the Monday? Schedule/timing was all mixed up and had to be the one to chase them to tell me what was going on. Report was reasonably thorough, but wouldn't recommend if you're new to the process and need assurance.

MAP is an award winning surveyors with many years experience and are RICS registered. When the survey was undertaken the client was not present. The client had concerns of damp at the property and questioned the report they received. As a result, the property was re-attended by one of our surveyors and the area in question was re-inspected. No dampness was recorded at the initial inspection and none was found on the revisit. The client also questioned the valuation figure. We contacted the customer and an explanation of how this was calculated was sent. MAP takes customer service very seriously and our surveyors endeavour to answer any concerns our customers may have. We value all our customers and make every effort to accommodate wherever possible.

I would highly recommend Maitlands Acorn Professional Ltd. The surveyor had undertaken a Homebuyers survey as requested by us - the survey report was clear and very thorough - the surveyor reported very significant constructional defects that we missed when we viewed the property that would have required additional monies and time to be fixed. The survey findings enabled us to make a common sense decision not to proceed - we are grateful to MAP and will be using them again. What really impressed us the survey was undertaken within days and not weeks, imperative to get surveys done quickly had we waited 3 to 4 weeks waiting time the outcome of our personal situation could have been very damaging, we were able to avoid solicitors fees as we stopped the purchasing of the property in question.
