My quote and booking in of the homebuyers survey were done at lightning speed by Jemma, I paid promptly and Tim provided me with a thorough and well-written report which I was very pleased with. It did take rather longer than the 5-10 working days turnaround as stated but if you’re in no rush then it’s worth the wait. Their communication could be improved.”

It took Tim Wordsworth more than a month to produce the house survey report - when his terms of business say that the report usually takes 5 days to produce. I only got the report at all after much polite chasing by phone message and email. I had a couple of questions arising from the report but despite many attempts to contact Tim - over a further period of weeks - I was unable to speak to him. Tim’s office staff would take a message and his ‘phone went to voicemail - but communications got no response whatsoever.

It has now been a month since Wordsworth Surveyors conducted a survey on the property I intend to purchase. I am still waiting for the report. I spoke to the surveyor shortly after the survey was undertaken. He said that it should take a few days for the report to come through. When a few days went by, I emailed the administrative staff asking where my report was, and recieved no response. I then phoned up and was told that they would chase the report. I still did not recieve my report. I phoned up again and was told that the report would take 10-15 days to complete (22 days and counting). The adminstrative staff forwarded an email onto the surveyor, asking where the report was. That was a week ago and following another follow-up email from myself. The report still has not arrived. I could not possibly reccomend this surveyor to anyone under any circumstances.

On their T&C survey reports would be sent in 5 days. Quick in sending invoice but once paid I have chased several time for the report, it's been 10 days and no responce. Appauled by the service I hope I had used another surveyor and paid extra.

Final report was well produced and covered everything.They turned up at the correct time and carried out the survey efficently. Customer service was shocking.There was a complete lack of communication and 4 e-mails from me went un-answered. I WAS TOLD THE REPORT WOULD BE READY BETWEEN 5-10 DAYS this did not happen it took 13 days .I had no idea why there was such a long delay.The clerk who was answering the phone also had trouble contacting the surveyor to find out what was going on.

Very happy with the survey, but response to emails, especially after survey completed asking follow-up questions, has not been as good

Thanks for your feedback. The last few months are the busiest we have ever been and overwhelming at times. As a result, the communication with a couple of clients has been poor and I apologise. We will strive to implement a better system for dealing with clients once the survey is completed. I wish you all the best with the purchase.
