Cromer is a charming town on the north Norfolk coast. Popular with tourists but with a large population of year-long residents, Cromer has something to offer for everyone. The town’s high street and shopping district is well-equipped with independent and boutique retail options. There are also many great locations for eating out. Fresh fish and chips is available from local’s favourite, Downstairs at No 1, while in the restaurant based above it, you’ll find very well-reviewed cooking that’s as varied as it is delicious. For the culturally minded, Cromer also has a thriving arts scene based around its independent cinema and local theatre, which sits at the end of the town’s stunning pier.
If you are more of a nature lover, Cromer is located at the heart of the Norfolk Coast area of outstanding natural beauty. In and around this coastal area you will find any number of beautiful beaches and gorgeous walks for you to explore. If you have little ones, The Amazona Zoo is a great day out just at the outskirts of town and is home to a wonderful selection of wildlife. Cromer’s town centre and its surrounding suburbs are full of Victorian-era homes and properties.
