I would wholeheartedly recommend Neil Moran Associates without an ounce of hesitation, the professionalism, flexibility, efficiency and level of customer care were truly outstanding from both Neil and Laura, the Company Secretary. Neil recently undertook a Buildings Survey for me on a c.1850's built cottage - this was my first venture into the property market alone, so a nerve-wracking time. Everything was seamless to arrange (and swiftly done) and I'd like to note that the quote was very competitive; ever more impressive now having experienced the quality of the service he and Laura provide. To put it frankly, Neil was messed around by the Estate Agent marketing the property, arriving at the office (having travelled a c.50 minute distance) for the pre-arranged appointment, only to be turned away on the basis that they couldn't find the keys. Without any intervention from me an appointment was swiftly re-arranged, and Laura updated me on what had happened (not the Estate Agent, might I add). They were clearly concerned to ensure that none of the stress or negative consequences were passed on to me. The subsequent appointment came around, Neil attended in good time and then undertook the Buildings Survey. On that day, following completion, he called me (as I'd requested) and gave me a very clear, comprehensive, honest and 'plain English' de-brief, explaining all acronyms and giving a realistic view on when work would be needed (and how costly it was likely to be). He'd even taken the time and opportunity to speak with a neighbour who approached him whilst on site, which highlighted some critical contextual information that I'd otherwise not have known. I appreciate this won't always present itself as an opportunity, but the fact that he spent time to elicit such valuable information when the opportunity arose (being above and beyond the RICS requirements of him) demonstrates his detailed practice and quality of customer care. I have been treated with respect, dignity and kindness throughout an extremely stressful time, which is invaluable. The communication has been personable, professional and extremely supportive. Whilst it is important to me that I treat people how I wish to be treated, rarely do you get back such a high quality of service. Needless to say I will be instructing NMA for the future purchase as and when that happens. Thank you Neil and Laura!
