Question

How do I know if I have one where I’m moving to? Do I get charged for a long carry?

Answer

‘Long carry’ is a term that is used when there is an unusually long distance from the back door of the removal vehicle and the doorstep of the property (typically greater than 75 ft / 23 metres). This typically incurs an extra charge from the removal company. If you think that your removal might fall into this category, check when asking for a quote.

Very professional and clear communication throughout the quoting process. Drivers arrived with one hour delay but they kept us informed all the way through and finished within the estimated slot, so the delay did not have much impact. Also very polite and accommodating drivers. Highly recommended.
