Arrived promptly, worked smoothly, and had to work in conjunction with another tradesman but that went without a problem. and all arrived safely (except one 50p wine glass, No clear idea what happened to cause that as everything was well wrapped by Yorkshire Removals and other very fragile bits were fine.). Everything put where it was wanted. Hope not to be moving again for a long time, but if we were I would use them again

We used this removal company which yourselves recommended on 5th July 2021 not happy at all As when they turned up they was very rude saying our furniture and possessions where junk and trash Then they complained that the pictures should have been in boxes. When they had finished loading our furniture they expected us to be at our new home in 2 hours which from Sleaford to Bridlington is 3 hours away. When we got to the property they had broken the lock around the back garden with a sledge hammer and started to load our garden Furniture in the back garden. Then when I opened the door to the property the put items in the wrong rooms, our recliner chair was wet and damp They had broken my daughter TV which we had reported to them and they said they would replace this but with no joy Still waiting they were so rude and disappointed. I had to communicate with this removal firm as my husband had a stroke and has communication difficulties and he found this very distressing. This is not a good start to a New home. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and we are disappointed to hear that you are unhappy with the service provided. We can confirm that we arrived on time at Sleaford, however, when we got there, your items were not packed properly so we had to take the time to ensure that the loose items and overflowing boxes were corrected to avoid any damage to your items before we could depart. Once we were able to depart, you advised you would be heading to lunch and would meet us at 2pm. However, you did not arrive until 4.35pm and therefore, we had no access to the property, and we were waiting for you for 3 hours, for which we did not charge you for. We disagree with the claims that we broke any locks. The settee and chairs would not fit through the narrow corridor in the house, and we tried all angles to make it work, to which you did not express any concern. Whilst we agreed that the windows may need to have been removed to allow access for the larger items, we are removal people not joiners and cannot assist with this. We put all the boxes in the requested rooms and furniture upstairs, as requested, We are a respectable removal business and we do not accept these accusations, however, should you wish to discuss this any further, please feel free to contact us directly.
