I received the contract after the survey was done - although I did not need it, it would have been good to know about the cancellation costs.

I chose Mr McLaren as the property I am buying is an older stone built house which Mr McLaren has particular experience with. The survey was completed and I received it in good time. The most helpful part of the process for me was the subsequent in depth discussion I had with Mr Mclaren regards the survey contents. He was happy to discuss in depth the property's original construction and therefore the reasons behind the recommendations and remedies he suggested.
