Hugh was incredibly efficient with the report available on the evening of the survey, the report was detailed and very useful and Hugh was able to discuss any queries over the phone which was excellent.

I chose Chartex after speaking to a number of companies. We were buying a house that had had a lot of refurbishment done and extensions added, so were keen to have a full building survey done. Hugh has been very thorough in his report, and has been most helpful with my follow-up questions, providing me with further information as required. I have always been able to contact him within a day, and very much appreciated not having to go through a call-centre to direct questions. I would thoroughly recommend Hugh as a surveyor.

We have now had two surveys on two separate properties with Hugh - a homebuyer's report and a level three building survey. Both have been undertaken promptly and rigorously. Hugh was happy for us to attend the property with him, which allowed us an improved understanding of the problems we faced. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
