The company quoted for a Luton van and when my belongings did not fit ai had to pay for a second trip. The cheap service turned into a more expensive one. It was still just in my budget but it was very annoying. I would have liked to have known that price up front.

Really impressed with everything about really moving. Very organised, efficient, easy to deal with. The only reason for four stars on service was because on move day they sent a team of three for most of the day. I think this put a bit too much pressure on the three guys and a team of four or five would have been much better (and this was what we were expecting) and would have meant the job was finished at an earlier time. They did send an additional three people later in the day though.

Whatever you do, do not use these guys… Turned up late. Was promised a team of 5. Only two showed up. They could not get hold of management and it was a total clusterf@@k.

Over promise, under deliver. We were quoted 2 people to pack but got 1 which meant that she had to rush through (not her fault, she did everything she could but she was let down by the company) and the job wasn’t finished on the day. Now whilst unloading boxes, we have stuff from multiple rooms in a single box which makes it far more difficult, stressful and complicated. On top of that we paid for packaging, yet our own belongings were used to pad out items, including our babies cot bedding protecting house plants, so they’re now stained with soil. We also had other plants damaged due to a robot vacuum being placed on top of them, we have cleaned it the best we can but we will see what that does to the carpet next time we use it (this was packed on moving day as packing was not completed in advance). Then to the loading up. We were quoted as needing 2 vans, even though we strongly suggested multiple times that we would need 3. However after a lot of sarcastic comments about the ‘professional’ knowing what he was talking about I said I would bring my own van as a spill over if we had a few bits that didn’t fit. In the end the long wheel base van I brought was packed to the roof and everything was squeezed in to 3 vans, and our own car became the ‘spill over’. As for the care and attention, the tv was wrapped in a single layer of bubble wrap and the sound bar wasn’t even wrapped at all just put in as it was (again both on moving day). The legs of our silver cross wardrobe have been chipped, as they were not protected. In reality, I would expect a tv protector, sofa covers etc that other companies provide and include in the same price bracket. We had 4 people to load up, but 1 of them spent most of the morning on the phone trying to resolve issues with other moves, so I ended up finishing packing and helping to bring boxes etc out of the house. You would expect issues like this to be dealt with centrally rather than taking a mover off a quoted 4 man team. As for unpacking, we had 4 people, 1 of whom was different to the loading team. They were on time and unloaded quickly, but with the issue of packing random rooms into one box everything is now in the wrong parts of the house, so we now have to move it all again. When it came to unloading the last van, everything was thrown into the garage regardless of where it was meant to go. This includes missing clothes, daughters toys, gardening equipment clearly for the shed. A garage packed so tightly that access is impossible. 3 days on I still haven’t found a lot of clothing which I presume must be in a mislabelled/unlabelled box in the back of the garage and completely out of reach. Just to top it off I just had the most infuriating phone call with a manager and one of the people who unloaded. I wanted to run through the issues we had experienced and discuss them, but was met with a whole list of excuses before I had even managed to discuss the problems. Then with every issue I was told an excuse, a reason it was my own fault, or that this never happens so he is surprised. Zero apology, zero care, just arrogance. On the day we sucked it up and got on with it. We just wanted to make it happen. However it’s the unpacking chaos we’ve been left with that has tipped us over. Paying a moving company is supposed to make the process less stressful, in this case, post move, we don’t know where to start. We used this company because of their flexibility at short notice. Would I use them again? No I wouldn’t. Do I think this company should be recommended by yourselves and therefore held up to be trusted? Absolutely not!

Dear Mr & Mrs Johnwood, Please refer to your quote document and signed agreement for our quoted agreed recommendations. To clarify you was quoted one removal packer, 2 lutons and 4 staff. Of which all you had received. To accommodate your removal budget despite recommending additional vehicle, as a gesture of good will we offered to assist loading and unloading your personal vehicle. You was spoken to from management and asked to follow our complaints procedure to enable our complaints department to look future into your original complaint, but you had unfortunately refused.
