With the packing service the guys were great in most regards but despite telling them several times that we are staying in the property that evening they packed up everything so we had no were to sit or watch TV etc. They even packed all towels and toilet paper which I found odd! In addition the packing was done in haphazard - i.e even when packing up the computer they did not put everything in the same box or at least mark boxes so it took us some time to find computer cables for example (which were in a different box to the main computer). WIFI antenna off the back of the pc had also been removed and cannot be found. Think packing service could be improved massively but sending customer some instructions on how to prepare prior to the packing service. Removal guys very good though - all polite and worked efficiently on the day. Overall would still recommend them.

We have a 2 bed ground floor flat. It was noted that we had 2 bedrooms and a shed. Anything different about the move was noted. I said I had 20 concrete bricks I wanted to take and a long 2.4m wooden beam. 20-25 steps and the next property we were moving too. The only things needed to be taken apart were 2 beds and a cupboard which didn’t need to get reassembled. 2 guys arrived and instantly they said the van was too small and would need to be 2 trips and a 3rd man. This would be double. The 3rd man never arrived. The 2nd trip the guys packed the truck so poorly that they “conveniently” had no more space for the bricks and other bits and bobs from the shed. One of them down tools for 45mins when they saw the steps and complained he was sick. We had a significant amount of things still at our old place waiting for the 2nd trip and the new owners waiting to move in. Embarrassed to say the least. All that said, the guys worked hard, only a few things were broken and the original quote was too good to be true. They need to do whatsapp videos or site visits if they want accurate quotes. On the day is not the time to double the price. Will I recommend “really moving”. Probably not as it seems that the guys quote, to get the job and then hold you too ransom on the day.
Thank you for your feedback. we spoke with this customer and he said we do not have much stuff and need van with 2 men for 4 hours and booked the job on hourly based, on the day of move when the team arrived there was alot of stuff to move. the team asked we need the second van and we spoke with customer and he said yes we can get the second van or they can do the second run, then we agreed that instead of hourly rate we can fixed the job and he was happy with this. we worked hard and completed the job. we are very clear from our end that the job was booked with 2 men and van for 4 hours and no one mentioned on the booking its completion so we trust on the communication form the customer end and took the booking. it was customer decision to initially book the move for hourly and then go for the 2nd run and fixed the job. You were really happy at the end and now you have changed the mind to write the review to reflect the negative feedback we appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best. thanks for using Fast Interior Removals services.
