The surveyor - Stephen Thirkettle - was incredibly helpful. Once he had completed his survey, he called me to discuss his findings and recommendations. The report then followed about a week later. It would have been nice to have had the written report the sooner, however as Stephen had discussed the key points with me over the phone, I was able to plan my next steps whilst waiting for the document. The report itself was detailed but clear and included a good number of helpful photographs. The findings indicated some potential ongoing subsidence to the garage and Stephen was very helpful, on several occasions, with providing further guidance and recommendations, both verbally and in writing. His advice was incredibly helpful and allowed me to confidently progress matters with my insurance company and solicitor. I would definitely recommend this company, and especially Stephen Thirkettle.

I was really impressed by the detail in the report I received - so much so that in the end I did not go through with the purchase even though I loved the property. The report was well written and simple to understand, and explained the differences between certain things so that I could appreciate what the report meant even though I have very little knowledge of building materials and processes etc. The booking in process was easy and everyone I spoke to at the firm was very processional.

I dealt with Sally of Nest Chartered Surveyors Ltd and found her to be very professional, efficient and striving to provide the best customer service throughout. I had contacted few other surveyors but firstly they quoted higher and secondly were unable to survey within the reasonable time scale. With Nest, they quoted very reasonable and actually offered to attend the property earlier than what we initially agreed. The surveyor himself was a friendly professional who arrived at the agreed time and did the survey efficiently. I was provided with the survey report within 2 days as agreed. Overall excellent service! I would highly recommend them.
