All Moves UK is a family run business based in Nottingham, Derby and Leicester offering a professional and quality service.

Over the years we have gained great experience in the removal industry, offering a first class service no matter the size of the move; we take the utmost care with our customers' possessions and treat them as if they are our own.

Through the years we have grown due to demand into a large fleet offering varied services within the removal industry. We are specialists in the removals business, and in particular the transportation of household goods and office furniture.

Our total commitment is to providing a professional and personalised service and we understand the importance of logistics to make your day stress free. We pay a visit to your house for free for a pre-move survey to see what equipment will be required to ensure a smooth move.

Our friendly staff, who are all fully trained, uniformed and CRB checked, will be there to make the progress of your move simple. We understand that there can be delays on the day, our teams keep a light hearted approach to every day moves, handling goods carefully and safely transporting belongings from your house to your new home.

We offer a range of services; from a fragile pack to a complete pack and unpack service, or the dismantling and assembling of furniture. Gordon is very passionate about the removal trade and likes to be involved and active in many areas. He has just been voted as a director of The Association of Independent of Removals. The role will be making sure the criteria is of a high standard and helping improve standards within the trade with training. He has also just been given a role by the BAR as National Council Representative for the East Midlands area, which is an important role as this is a valuable link between BAR/The Board and The Membership

I was very unhappy with the inadequately size van they sent. All this naming absolutely everything you want moving is ridiculous. I needed stuff moving that was forgotten about, like a laundry basket and the kitchen bin. The company spent time dismantling furniture just to squeeze it in the van, and they still didn't fit in 2 of my declared items, a fridge freezer and my king size mattress. I had to leave the furniture dismantled at the delivery end because they would have charged me another £45 as it would have took me into an extra hour. I had to call another company to move the left over items, he charged my £40. I spoke with Debbie on the phone because they needed paying before the removal guys left. She was not understanding and explained to me that if I needed more items moving then a second trip was required at an extra cost. I will not be recommending this company as I feel they are a sub standard company.

This customer did not have a visit all we had was an inventory which this is the copy below and really moving have same inventory, any one of our small wagons would fit this in comfortable, 1x Settee Large,1x Settee,Medium,1x Armchair, medium,1x Welsh Dresser,2x Bookcase Large 1x Single wardrobe,1x Chest of Drawers, Large 1x Kingsize bed,1x Single bed,4x Bedside Table 2x Fridge Freezer,1x Washing Machine, 1x Microwave,1x Lawn Mower We only offer hourly rate without a visit, she only wanted us there for 4 hours and did not want to pay any extra, the goods to be move was a full house move not just items on inventory and we had to dismantle all beds and bookcases so we could move them as could not move complete and was told this would be done ready, when the team arrived she had double the amount of goods, this is a complete unfair review as it was the customer that completely miss informed us of goods to be moved but expected us to do it for no more cost, the other van that arrived would of took at least three trips to finish the job, and our men moved everything on inventory and dismantled in the four hours but were unable to re-resemble as they were out of time

we were very disappointed.started off ok but as we were on a fixed rate terms not hourly a rush towards the end causing a lot of damage especially to personal and valued items which came apparent as we started unpacking we would never use or recommend them. our leather suite marked every side cos they barged it thru the doorways forcing it thru. boxes were piled almost thrown into spare room which consequently damaged items already in there such as dolls house. another dolls house which was marked fragile was upside down in corner, the house and contents are trashed. our furniture marked. the tv had its wires torn out of the plug/. endless scratches everywhere. we contacted all moves to be told we were insured during transit only, not loading and unloading, we were given a £100 back...... we were so shattered and stressed that we took this. my suite was only bought last sept for £2500, when Gordon saw pictures he cancelled the visit to view, after he was putting the blame on to the wooden floor people we were having, but incidentally they were not due till a week after removal!!! we just trying now to pick up all the pieces again and try and enjoy our new house. I do have pictures of every corner of suite is you would like to see them.

To start, Mr Sherwood was not happy about paying a fixed rate to start with as he wanted us to do the move without vat which we would not agree to as it is illegal with us being a vat registered company. We were told that there was three items that were personal to them which were two sofas and one picture which the men took extra care with knowing this. We never ever move sofas without the specialized covers and have moved over 2000 customers in the last twelve months, it is impossible to have caused the damage shown in the photographs, these three items were checked and shown to the customer by Neil before he left the property. The sofas were left in one position in the room as the customer said they were going to be moved around due to having carpets and flooring fitted, the floor men were actually there on the move day and the carpet fitters said they were doing all the rooms that day. We had to pack and stack the boxes in the rooms requested as they wanted them put in the rooms that had had the floors done so that they were not in the way whilst the rest were being done. The customer rang and asked for £100 to call it quits, as a company we should not have agreed to this but being busy we did it as a goodwill gesture but will not being doing it again. As far as we are concerned they just wanted some money back for their move. This company has moved over 2000 customers in the last twelve months, people are quick to to give negative reviews but not so quick to leave good reviews.

Good workers but clumsy,damaged quite a bit of our furniture,not very sympathetic when told about this and tried everything to deny liability.

This was four items from a full four bed house that was put into and then taken out of storage. Two items were dismissed when visited to look at damage, there was a scratch on fridge but already dented. As the items were only limited liability insurance the maximum they would get was £100. In good faith we gave them £300, which was paid out within three days of the move and we had an email agreeing that they were happy - which anyone can view. We went beyond what they were entitled to as good will, and was told he was claiming of contents that he damaged the item. Don't see how we tried to deny when we paid out that quick and more than the claim.

They underestimated the volume and some property could not be loaded. They said that they would be sending 2 extended Luton Vans but 1 Extended and one Luton turned up. I had to make arrangements for the items which could not be loaded to be collected separately. The crew were good (apart from an extended lunch break at 10.30 am!!). Debbie was exceptionally helpful and went beyond the norm to accommodate my needs due to the delay in the legal process dragging its heels.

The customer has just returned boxes today and said what a fantastic move he had, all items on inventory were moved. Due to late notice we could only send what we had left in our fleet, all that was left at the old house was large garden pots that were not empty so unable to move. We don't understand the long break - nothing has been said, the move went well and no damage and again he said very he was very happy with the service.

All though at the start of the day the removal team were enthusiastic towards the end of the day they were less. I had arranged for garden tubs to be moved which they were not happy about and I had to insist that they went back for them, by which time it was getting dark and consequently not all of my tubs were moved even though I had grouped them together some were left behind. Also one of my mirrors was damaged but I didn't see it until after they had gone. A lot of my belongings were stacked in a very dangerous way in one bedroom which made it difficult to get in and out of the room

This move had to be started late due to road restrictions and really bad access. On her booking confirmation, she was advised that plant pots must be emptied before move date. The customer must have read the confirmation as she converted her deposit to protection waiver, which is on the same confirmation email. However, the pots were not empty so they had to go back as unable to stack. We should have charged for this but we didn't. When payment was taken we always ask if everything was OK, and our team will not leave until we give them the all clear. The customer has our terms and we have had no complaints direct to us which seems weird; if we had damaged goods she should have told us, surely. I am sorry she feels this way but if things are done as requested then a second journey for plant pots would not have happened and the move would have been done in time as advised.
