I had numerous problems with my move which was delayed several times. I lost 4 removals firms and was really struggling to find a company at short notice for my move from Chesham to Bournemouth on the busiest Friday of the year (17th December). I was a little weary of using I Like to Move It as I had not heard of them, but having checked them out on several websites and read the reviews, they seemed good. And they were really good. I did a video call with Sam who promptly provided a reasonable quote. The team of 3 chaps called to let me know what time they would be arriving. Got loaded up in just over an hour. Very polite and friendly. Took great care with everything. Had a 2 hour delay at the other end, but again the guys were very quick with loading. My sofa wouldn't fit in the lift, and as I was planning to replace it soon, they took it away for me for a small extra charge, saving me a lot of hassle. I have no problems at all in recommending them. The office staff were very helpful, and the moving team were just great.

They didn’t show up on removals day which cost us a huge amount. We had to chase them to find out what had happened When rescheduled the removals team were very good We requested a partial refund because we had to move items ourselves when they didn’t show up and it was evident they didn’t have to take much as it was all completed in a day. They are still refusing to refund the full requested amount but are offering a smaller amount. We also thought we were overcharged for a 2 bed flat (minus 2 beds!) at £1.1k - even when this included packing This was substantially different from the quote on reallymoving and we were told that as a lead generation tool you deliberately under price the service initially.

We contacted you in the morning to advise you that one of staff didn’t come to work because had Covid Symptoms and as per government guidelines we advised him to stay at home to avoid the spread of Coronavirus. We apologised for the inconvenience which was caused due to circumstances beyond our control and you were understandably disappointed, so we asked whether you were flexible and you agreed with us to reschedule the move on Tuesday. We did tried to call you at 8am but you did not answer. You subsequently called the office but couldn’t get through and we apologise for that. You were eventually able to speak to someone who advised you of the situation. We appreciate your positive feedback about the actual move itself. We offered you several apologies and a partial refund and increased it several times but you did not accept the amount. We offered you a partial refund but you did not accept the amount and you decided to write this negative review. Even though your move was rescheduled, the original quote was what you had agreed in the first place. Packing includes all materials as well. You may feel you were overcharged slightly because our crew are true professionals who make the job look easy yet in reality they work tirelessly, carefully and quickly so they can finish early and go home to their families. The quote provided by reallymoving is only indicative (not deliberately under priced as you suggest) and we (not Reallymoving) can only provide an accurate one we have surveyed your contents and estimated the actual size of your move. This was explained to you and is self explanatory. If you wish to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
